My Autobiography
I was a journalist for 20 years before I became a teacher in 2010. I was lucky to land at Goudy after a few months of subbing at other schools.
I have a bachelor's degree in journalism, a master's degree in elementary education, and an endorsement as a learning-behavior specialist.
I was born near Chicago but grew up in a very small town with my mom, dad, and three brothers. When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also like to bike, hike, camp, kayak, read, write, and take classes to learn new things.
